What is the definition of permanent resident?

  5. Parental visa
  6. Asylum visa and humanitarian protection
  7. Protection visa which is provided from within Australia
  8. Visa for skilled workers and investors, except for the sponsorship of employers.
It should be noted that those who normally obtain temporary work visas, usually sponsored by TSS 482 employers, can apply for permanent residence after 3 years of working with their sponsoring company if their job is on the list of jobs required for permanent residency in Australia.
The partner visa varies from case to case and the application will be printed two years after the partner's sponsorship in Australia.
